FM Transmitter Lets you Beam MP3s to Home Stereos

If you're sick of sitting in front of your computer to hear streaming audio, you might want to take a look at C. Crane's new FM Transmitter Wireless Audio Transfer Device (WATD), which lets you transfer audio to an FM receiver. C. Crane says you can use it to send music to any radio in your house. To use the gadget, you plug it into any device with an earphone jack or an audio line out, and shoot the tunes over the airwaves to your radio of choice. C. Crane's FM Transmitter has a built-in automatic "power off" timer, runs on an included power supply or two AA batteries, and weighs 5.8 ounces. If you run it on batteries, you can hook it up to an MP3 player so that you can listen to your digital tunes on your car stereo. The little gadget is priced at $79.95. C. Crane will be demonstrating the device at the 2002 Consumer Electronics Show (CES ), January 8-11, in Las Vegas, Nevada USA.
