Flytech aims to ship 90,000 POS terminals in 2004
Taiwan-based Flytech Technology expects to ship 70,000 POS (point-of-sale) terminals this year, up 67% from 42,000 units in 2002, company president Lam Tai-seng said at an investors conference yesterday. With the company striving to expand its ODM/OEM business, Lam expects Flytech’s shipments of POS terminals to grow over 30% to 90,000 units in 2004.
