Flat panel prices falling
Liquid-crystal displays (LCDs), or flat-panel monitors, have been falling in price since December last year. Some display prices have dropped 60 percent since summer but observers believe the reductions will continue for some time. One analyst predicts that 15" LCD will sell for less than $350 in the near future, with 18" flat-panel displays at twice that price.
