This is What Firefox 4.0 Could Look Like

by - source: Tom's Hardware US

Mozilla is toying with Firefox 4.0 concepts.

Last week we got a sneak peek at some possible interface changes that we could see in Firefox 3.7, which showed definite influence from Google's Chrome browser.

Today designer Stephen Horlander showed of some more interface concepts that we might see when Firefox 4.0 rolls around.

"These are not final," Horlander declared once again on the webpage. "They are only for brainstorming [and] exploration."

Like with the Firefox 3.7 mockups, the minimalist but functional design of Chrome is crawling into the Mozilla camp.

Chrome is annoying when it comes to bookmarking. Had to dl an addon for greater functionality.
CBA comes to mind!!!

Search from the address field, just like Chrome. Oh and other browsers too only the function is more explicit than just a built-in redirect if your address bar entry cannot be found.

ah crap. I don't use chrome because I also use object dock (I use firefox). So when I try to click on the tabs, my object dock comes over my browser. Too bad :( ... But I guess there will be a possibility to keep the default skin
