FBI brings charges against more 'bot-herders'
The Federal Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday that two more individuals have been charged with "bot-herding," or furtively using ad-hoc networks of other peoples’ computers to commit crimes such as identity theft. As part of an ongoing operation, the FBI said that charges were recently brought against James Brewer and Jason Downey. Charges already had been brought against Robert Soloway, who is known as the "spam king."
