While using Facebook, there might be times when you come across any other Facebook account about which you are sure that the person using that account is fake or an impostor. When this happens, it becomes your moral duty to inform the Facebook administration team about that account so that Facebook can take appropriate actions against the profile.

In order to make things easier for you, Facebook allows you to report any unwanted ID/profile anonymously, which means that your identity will not be revealed to anyone. You can report any fake or impostor Facebook profile using your Android smartphone with just a few taps.

Here is how:

  • Turn on your Android mobile phone.
  • Tap the Menu button to go to the apps list.
  • Locate and tap any web browser installed on your mobile phone. (E.g. Google Chrome).
  • Once the web browser opens up, open www.facebook.com.
  • If you are not already signed-in, provide your login credentials in the appropriate fields, and tap the Log In button.
  • Since the mobile version of Facebook gets loaded by default, you must replace the initial ‘m.’ with ‘www.’ in the URL in the address bar.
  • Tap the Go button to continue loading the PC version of Facebook.
  • Once the News Feed page appears, locate the fake or impostor account that you want to report.
  • On the timeline of the culprit account, tap the icon with three dots aligned horizontally at the bottom-right corner of the cover picture.
