Facebook rumoured to be settling in Ireland
Rumour has it that the bigwigs in Facebook are thinking of locating either their European headquarters or Technical Infrastructure in Ireland.
Facebook is the social networking site that has take the world by storm. Already number one in the U.S. Facebook is looking to surpass Myspace and Bebo in Europe.
Other companies who have recently made the soggy Emerald Isle their home include Ebay, Google and Amazon.
Facebook have yet to comment on the matter but have assured us that they’ll “keep us updated”. Hurrah.
Facebook has been making the news all week (what else is new ?) with it’s third party application, Scabulous.
The fabulous Scrabulous bears a remarkable resemblance to not so popular board game, Scrabble. In fact, pretty much the only difference is, Scrabulous has over 2 million registered users and Scrabble has, well, less.
Facebook’s Scrabble Rabble, or as they refer to themselves, Save Scrabulous, are all for saving the game from the vicious copyright laws that are threatening to take away their beloved application.
