ExciteAtHome preps 'enhanced' TV
ExciteAtHome plans to test a new interactive TV service designed to complement, rather than replace, personal computer-based Internet service.
The high-speed, PC-based Internet service provider said its new enhanced, or advanced, TV will offer basic Internet content like personalized news and weather, shopping and e-mail, with most of its services accessible via the television's remote control.
