Eurocom to ship Intel Core Duo notebook with Mobility Radeon x1800xt graphics
Eurocom, a Canadian notebook manufacturer, is releasing a new Intel Core Duo notebook that is aimed at gamers and graphics designers. The M570U laptop has a 1920 by 1200 pixel, 17" display that is powered by the newly released Ati Mobility Radeon X1800XT graphics card with 256 MegaBytes of DDR3 video RAM. Nvidia fans can opt for the Geforce Go7800GTX card instead. The laptop even comes with an optional internal TV tuner card.
Weighing in at 8.4 pounds the M570U can have up to 2 gigabytes of DDR533 RAM in two memory sockets and potential buyers can select an up to 160 Gigabyte hard-drive. Connectivity is provided by a built-in 802.11 a/b/g combo card, along with Bluetooth and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Audio fans will like the optical digital and analog input and output ports and built-in surround sound speakers.
Eurocom says the M570U will ship in April 2006.
