EU to hit imported digital cameras with tariff
The European Union will likely hit imported digital cameras with a 4.9% customs tariff in June or July of this year. The tariff will affect international brands like Sony, Canon, Nikon and Kodak. The tariff reverses a trend of lower tariffs for cameras after the World Trade Organization agreed in 1996 to eliminate tariffs by 2000.
