EU MS cases joined?
According to a New York Times story, the European Commission will merge two antitrust investigations into Microsoft Corp. practices. The result could be a much quicker and more serious lawsuit. Both cases concern the alleged Microsoft practice of withholding critical information about its software from server manufacturers. Though a spokesperson for the EU has denied the merging, the New York Times is sticking with its story.
