Etron Technology's four-in-one controller IC is in design-in stage
Etron Technology recently successfully developed a four-in-one controller IC, the EL7301, integrating scaler, analog-to-digital converter (ADC), phase-locked loop (PLL) and on-screen display (OSD) into a single chip. The new chip, which will be used for 17" SXGA TFT LCDs, currently is in the design-in stage with customers and the company expects to begin volume production in July.
