Epox: Win95A, Athlon board don't mix
Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer Epox has issued a warning that installing a version of Windows 95 on its Athlon 7KXA motherboard with a Via chipset can cause BIOS corruption.
The company says the problem involves the retail release of Windows 95 4.00.950, and suggests as the best workaround that users instead install OSR2x or later.
Reportedly, a similar problem also appears to affect other Athlon boards using the KX133 chipset.
