Epox intros SLI boards for AMD and Intel processors
Epox announced two new SLI-capable mainboards. The EP-9NPA+ SLI aims at Socket 939 AMD processors, while the EP-5NVA+SLI will accommodate Socket 775 Intel CPUs (FSB 800 and 1066). The devices support up to four GByte dual-channel DDR memory, integrate a Realtek sound solution with up to eight audio channels. Other standard equipment includes ten USB 2.0 connects, two P-ATA and four SATA II ports.
The AMD board is available for about $200, the Intel version is priced at about $330. (THG)
