Enhanced Enters Mainstream with SDRAM DIMMs and SODIMMs
Specialty memory module supplier Enhanced Memory Systems has introduced a new family of SDRAM DIMM and Small Outline DIMM (SODIMM) products. The introduction of its new line of DIMM memory modules moves the company into the realm of mainstream memory providers in addition to its role as a custom module supplier to OEM system manufacturers. The low-profile 168-pin DIMM and the 144-pin SODIMM memory modules both conform to the JEDEC standards and meet the height requirements of 1U rack mount systems. The registered DIMM products offer capacities up to 1GByte for server and workstation applications, while the SODIMM products target notebook computer and embedded systems applications.
