Engraved iPod helps police catch thief
Tutusville (FL) – An engraved iPod was the downfall of unsuccessful thief on Monday. 25-year-old Wilford McCloud was pulled over by police for riding a bicycle without proper safety lights. During the interview, police found an iPod that was engraved with the message, “Please don’t steal me.”
The message also included the owner’s name which, to the shock of the police officers, didn’t match McCloud’s. McCloud will be charged with one count of burglary and grand theft.
