EMusic builds Napster tracker
Music file-seller Emusic has developed a tracking system able to identify its music on Napster and notify the offending parties. According to Emusic, the task took two engineers less than three weeks, though Napster had previously said it was impossible. Emusic accused Napster executives of being disingenuous and Napster promised to keep track of Emusic's tracker to protect its users.
