Oracle CEO Larry Ellison told the audience at Oracle AppsWorld 2001 that the computer revolution is over and biotechnology is where the next great innovation will happen. "We've had three major generations of computing: mainframes, client-server and Internet computing," he said. "There will be no new architecture for computing for the next 1,000 years."
