Electronic Arts announces Battlefield: Bad Company for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
Redwood City (CA) - Why go to war for honor, when you can do it for revenge and riches ? Electronic Arts has announced Battlefield : Bad Company, a darker and more self-centered addition to the World War II Battlefield series. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game will follow a group of renegade soldiers who are dropped behind enemy lines.
While EA hasn’t released too many details about the game, the company does say it will feature "dark humor," and that "nearly everything" - about 90% of the battlefield - can be destroyed. Players can play a full-featured single-player campaign or take advantage of multiplayer combat.
The game is being developed in partnership with Sweden-based Digital Illusions, and will ship for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2007.
