Solid Drive - Sound Without Speakers

Similarly, you can make your house literally shake with the Solid Drive speaker system. You put the speaker elements into your walls, and they will vibrate out sound. Since the speakers are inside the drywall, they are essentially invisible.
The elements are made of a compound called Terfenol-D, and vibrate at up to 20,000 cycles per second. According to company officials, the compound was developed by the US Navy for powering sonar equipment. Each sound channel consists of a woofer and tweeter element (shown above).
The Solid Drive is available now for $550 to $575 for each sound channel.
Sony - Windowpane Trickery

Finally, Sony showed off their plasma screens, some of which were built into a window pane. From far away, the appearance is very much similar to really looking out a window. Sony officials admitted that there was no practical application, but at least it looks cool!
