Electronic Arts Releases Battlefield 1942 1.3 Update

EA has released patch for Battlefield 1942 multiplayer WWII game. The 1.3 Patch which is available for download fixes a number of issues including optimizations for network performance and a fix for SoundBlaster Live cards on Windows XP and 2000 systems. In addition the 1.3 Patch includes some new features such as new weapon models and animations. The 1.3 patch also includes some new additional add-ons, most notably perhaps is the improved firing animations in the first-person view for the STG44, BAR 1918, MP18, and MP40 weapons as well as new weapon models for the STG44 and BAR 1918. In response to numerous requests from single-player Battle Field 1942 players, the AI has also got some additional attention. Bots will now prioritize their targets more appropriately in the single-player version of the game once the patch is installed. The 1.3 patch is about 47MB for the client side and 70MB for the server side, these can be downloaded by following the link below.
