Steam Sale: Deus Ex PC Games for $2.50 Each
Deus Ex is one of the very best genre-blending games of all time, which combined the immersion of a first-person shooter with the depth of a role-playing game.
The sequel, while not as hardcore as the original, still held elements that made the first one great. It was a distillation of first of the series, and it's still worth playing if you want to be fully prepared before the third game launches later this year.
Steam is having a sale that'll be on until the end of Thursday, April 22, where Dues Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War are $2.50 each. For just a fiver, you can get some excellent, solid PC gaming ready for the weekend – even if it's a trip down memory lane.

Still working my way through Quake from when it wa in the sale, but thanks!
Deus Ex - along with Thief II - is quite likely to genuinely be the best game ever made. The sequel was pretty horrible in comparasion, I hope Eidos Montreal learned from the mistakes made by Warren Spector.
Brought my copy of Deus Ex last night, for some stupid reason I missed out on it when it was first released.

Warren Spector doesn't make mistakes. The only problem Ion Storm had at the time was Eidos refusal to let them make it for the PC first.
And DX two was Randy Smiths fault I think (I'm sure we've all heard the "Spector chews out randy over how sucky DX2 was" thing)
i still have the original Cd version of this, i may get it on steam for ease of a memory lane wander though (im far to lazy to put the disk in nowdays) ^^

Couldn't agree more. I picked up these games long after they released (a few years ago) and even though they looked really dated the gameplay just blew me away- graphics became irrelevant. True works of art, both of them.
If you haven't had the pleasure you could do far worse than picking them up for $2.50 each.
