Cool Edelweiss Case is Like the ThermalTake BMW
Think the ThermalTake BMW case was neat? This was first.
We’re all a fan of fancy PC cases, not just novelty mods such as the Wall•E or Super NES case. We like our form and we like our function. This gorgeous case has its good looks, and also various cooling possibilities. Does it seem familiar? Earlier this year we saw the BMW DesignWorks-penned ThermalTake case, which from an aesthetics point of view was a huge hit.
It turns out, however, that the idea wasn’t exactly original. Pictures from MDPC show a PC case concept called the Edelweiss from 2006, designed by Pius Giger. MDPC makes it clear on its site that the case design predates the one from ThermalTake and BMW DesignWorks, while also noting that it’s since been rebuilt on June 18, 2009 since its original 2006 model.
We’ll try to find out more about this case, but in the meantime, feast your eyes on the pictures below:

Cool, though I'm not a fan of the "toilet seat" white.
Not so much a "case" as a "mounting wall"
I think it looks awesome, but - imagine opening a 2 litre bottle of your favourite carbonated drink next to it.
Toms... fix the galleries finally! you've asked for feedback 2-3 months back and it is still a pain to view the pictures! if you cannot spend 10 minutes - at least use lightbox...
