ECS to cooperate with Lenovo on server development
Motherboard maker Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) recently reached an agreement with Lenovo to develop server motherboards, according to the Chinese-language Commercial Times . Under the deal, Lenovo will provide R&D and design capabilities, while ECS will manufacture the products and use its distribution channel to sell the server boards, though not under the ECS brand, the paper indicated.
