eBay chief gets big payout
San Jose (CA) - Meg Whitman, eBay’s President and Chief Executive, received a hefty $11.1 million dollar payout in 2006. Most of the money came from stock options valued at $7.95 million, but she did get a $995,016 salary and a bonus of $221,008.
Of course being the top executive Whitman has access to the company jet which cost eBay $773,467 last year.
