eBay Bringing 'Buy it Now' Shop to London
Who's says you need a computer to do your Christmas shopping online?
You're probably all familiar with eBay's 'Buy It Now' feature that allows bidders to pay a predetermined amount chosen by the seller to end the auction prematurely. Usually this is done from the comfort of one's own home, however, this Christmas, eBay is bringing its 'Buy It Now' feature to life with the opening of a brand new shop in London.
eBay's shop in SoHo will be a bit different to the surrounding stores. For one thing, you can't actually take home any of the products on display. Gizmodo reports that eBay will be using the temporary retail presence to showcase product ideas with QR codes attached. If you see something you like, you can scan it with your phone and order it for home delivery. For those without QR code compatible phones, eBay and HTC have partnered up to offer loaner phones to shoppers.
The store is only open from December 1 - 5, so be sure to drop in and check it out at 34 Dean Street. Let us know if you buy anything!
