Electronic Arts is putting the finishing touches on its Superman Returns : The Videogame. Expected to ship next month, the game gives players almost complete freedom to move Superman around the 80 square miles of Metropolis while battling the familiar villains in the DC Comic universe.

EA says the game is the first "multi-dimensional open world game" and that Superman can move from the street all the way up into the clouds. There are more than 100 missions which will test player’s mastery classic Superman powers and even some new aerial tactics never seen on the big screen. SUPERMAN RETURNS : THE VIDEOGAME will ship on November 20th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo DS.
