Electronic Arts Shows Hot New Titles For The Holiday Season

by

Electronic Arts continues to be one of the leading publishers and distributors of software in the world. The EA presence at E3 was large, showing titles for both the PC and console platforms. EA announced no less than 23 new titles at E3.

The crowd at the EA booth was almost too much to handle. Due to their location at the main entrance of the hall it was difficult to get close enough to see let alone play many of the titles.

EA announced new and enhanced versions of games such as Madden NFL Football 2004, NHL Hockey 2004, NBA Live 2004, NASCAR Thunder 2004, NCAA 2004, Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf 2004, FIFA Soccer 2004, Rugby 2004, SSX 3, The Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King, Medal Of Honor: Rising Sun, James Bond: Everything Or Nothing, The Sims 2, Sim City 4: Rush Hour Expansion Pack, Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons Of WWII, Need For Speed Underground, Black & White 2, Loony Toons: Back In Action, BIONICLE and Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup.

Our own Lars spent quite a bit of time playing and examining the new Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons Of WWII from EA. His verdict was that the game looked good with a variety of new options that makes it look promising, the only problem is that we will have to wait till this fall to get our hands on it.

We found EA's offerings to be pretty good with a wide variety of games to play this holiday season. We were very impressed with three titles that really caught our eye - Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons Of WWII, Medal Of Honor: Rising Sun, and SSX 3. Personally, I really liked the new SSX 3 and most likely will return to EA's booth to play it once again before the show ends. Lars on the other hand was more drawn to the new Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons Of WWII.
