E Ink, Toppan and Philips showcase electronic ink-based color display
E Ink, Toppan Printing and Royal Philips Electronics on July 1 announced the successful development of the first high-resolution, active-matrix, electronic ink-based color display with a resolution of 320 x RGB x 234 (80 pixels per inch). A 5" prototype of the display was showcased at the Society of Information Display (SID) exhibition in May.
