EU ends antidumping investigation of DVD+R/-R discs
The European Union (EU) on June 7 announced it was ending its antidumping investigation of DVD+R/-R discs imported from Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, while the Argentine government on June 9 announced it will soon carry out an antidumping investigation of all imported CD-R discs, according to a June 14 press release from Taiwan’s Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), under the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The EU announced, on May 4 of this year, that it would not impose temporary antidumping tariffs on the previously mentioned DVD+R/-R discs and took a further step to end the corresponding investigation, BOFT indicated.
