Shining Technology - No More Capturing
Mini DV shooters who are tired of the long time it takes to capture footage from tape will like the CitiDISK DV from Shining Technology. This external drive connects to any Mini DV camcorder and will directly record footage, allowing the consumer to skip the video capture process.
The CitiDISK DV weighs about 10 ounces and comes with a belt clip. The batteries last about 80 minutes or you can use external DC power. The drive can take 150 Gs of shock since it is surrounded by shock-absorbent material.
The CitiDISK is currently shipping. It comes in 40GB to 80GB capacities and has an MSRP of $679 to $799.
