Tom's Hardware Guides Overclocking Diary
Starting Work At 2.66 GHz
By default, the Pentium D 805 runs at a CPU clock rate of 2.66 GHz. This clock rate is nothing to sneeze at, but it certainly won't put butterflies in your stomach.

The Pentium D 805 in its standard configuration runs at 2.66 GHz with an FSB clock rate of 133 MHz
When it comes to selecting the right memory clock rate, there isn't much to choose from with the FSB clock set to 133 MHz. For our benchmarks, we chose DDR2-533.

Only two choices for memory clock rate are available in the BIOS.
To maximize memory performance at this speed, we tweaked the memory access times to their maximum possible settings.

Our system was set at CL4.0-4-4-8.
