By - Source: Tom's Hardware | B 0 comment

There are a million motherboards in the naked city and each one seems to have its place, depending on what you intend to use it for. RadiSys just let us know about a new one that it says is specifically geared toward entry-level and mid-range performance applications in the enterprise telecommunications market. The new FM810 dual-Ethernet, microATX motherboard is based on the Intel 810 chipset and supports entry-level 300MHz Intel Celeron processors through mid-range 1 GHz P III processors. The 9" x 7.5" motherboard has dual 10/100 Ethernet communication ports, four PCI slots, PCI riser card support, 8 GPIO lines for I/O control functions, integrated standard VGA, and enhanced Phoenix BIOS features. The FM810 comes with a three-year warranty and will be available in Q4 2001. Volume pricing begins at $163 for boards without processors or memory.
