DRAMeXchange: Spot prices to rise gradually in short-term
DRAM spot prices have remained flat while contract prices for the second half of August have risen 3-5%. Demand from speculators was disappearing and prior to the release of the contract prices marketers were cautious of inventory adjustments. However, seeing the gradual appearance of end-user demand in the motherboard clone market, DRAMeXchange expects a slow spot price upswing in the short-run.
