DRAMeXchange: Price contraction to follow profit-taking
According to DRAMeXchange, DRAM contract prices have not increased the 20% from early this month as predicted by some industry analysts. Supply does show signs of tightening as distributors and module makers restock for the upcoming peak season. PC OEMs, however, are still cautiously conservative about end-user demand and are resisting significant surges in contract prices with DRAM makers.
