Falling prices a drag for DRAM makers

Falling average selling prices (ASPs) in both the spot and contract markets dragged down November revenues for Taiwan DRAM makers including ProMOS Technologies and Nanya Technology, according to company officials.

ProMOS estimates that its November revenues will fall a slight 3-5 percent sequentially to NT$ 2.25-2.3 billion, according to company spokesperson Ben Tzeng.
