DRAM oversupply very much depends on Samsung
Reacting to DRAMeXchange’s projection about a persistent DRAM oversupply in the third quarter, DRAM makers commented that the entire market outlook is very much dependent on how market leader Samsung Electronics does. Although expecting DRAM contract prices to hit bottom in June, DRAMeXchange believes that oversupply should still persist in the third quarter with market equilibrium to come only in the fourth quarter.
