DRAM market reacts to LG fab shutdown
LG Semicon's fab workers continued their 12-day walkout despite the Korean chip makers latest job security and salary-bonus offers.
The loss of production from the fifth-largest global DRAM maker is starting to be felt in world spot markets.
LG Semicon was producing mainstream 64-megabit DRAM chips at the rate of about 15 million a month before the walkout.
