Thermaltake Media LAB

Thermaltake's Media LAB includes a two-line 5.25" display unit and a multi-function IR remote control. The infrared receiver is mounted next to the VFD in the display unit. Close examination reveals that the Media LAB is a iMon Soundgraph variant. In fact, the iMon software handles the multimedia connections to the display and the remote control, which operates within environments such as MCE 2005 or Cyberlink's Power Cinema. The capabilities of the remote and the software are completely identical to those that the original Soundgraph also delivers.

nmedia Home Theatre PC Suite 7H

nMedia's Home Theatre PC Suite is actually an extension kit for the nMedia HTPC, but may be used with other cases or existing PCs. The box contains an infrared keyboard and remote control that work with a compatible USB-attached IR receiver to work with nearly every HTPC. Our test version also included a TV tuner to completely round out this suite of products. The IR keyboard and remote work with Windows MCE 2005 trouble-free, as well as with the PowerCinema software that's included as part of this offering. All functions, including the ability to schedule TV recordings, require a clear line of sight to the IR receiver.
