The front connectors and memory card reader reside behind a swing-down font panel door.
The front panel door is attached using simple pin-mounted hinges, which is a nice-to-look-at feature. Beneath that swing-down cover, also made of aluminium, you'll find front ports for USB, Firewire and audio on the left hand side. On the right, you'll find a memory card reader that can accommodate most common form factors (inside the case, this card reader must be attached to an unused USB pin header on your motherboard). The same is true for the VFD display, which also works with USB. The Soundgraph module that's built into this case also works as an infrared receiver for the remote control.

This cage accommodates two hard disks (one above, one below) plus an optical (DVD) drive.
