Diversified's Dual-Core Xeon CompactPCI Blade
Diversified Technology, Inc. has introduced a high performance, low power CompactPCI Blade based on the Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processors.
CompactPCI is an architecture that has been successful in applications ranging from VoIP and Media Gateways to Industrial Networks and Data Control Centers. The CPB4712 is an extension of DTI’s CompactPCI line, enabling organizations to gain performance enhancements within their CompactPCI deployments.
The CPB4712 features either the low voltage or ultra low voltage, high performance Dual-Core Intel Xeon processors at speeds ranging from 1.67GHz up to 2.16GHz with 2MB L2 cache.
The CPB4712 is based on the Intel 3100 chipset with 667MHz front side bus. System memory of up to 4GB is supported via two PC-2700 SO-DIMMs. Onboard are dual 100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports routed according to PICMG 2.16, one 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet port available at the front panel, one PMC/XMC site (64-bit/133MHz and x4 PCIe), high speed USB, and a serial port.
Production shipments begin Q2/2007. Single piece pricing for the CPB4712 is $1,795. Quantity discounts are available.
