Disney to make games for Nintendo DS and Wii
Disney has announced a new video game studio that will make games for the Nintendo DS handheld and the upcoming Nintendo Wii game console. The studio will develop titles based on current and future Disney movies and characters.
The studio will be headed by Scott Novis, formerly from Rainbow Studios that made the Disney/Pixar Cars game. Disney has made video games for several years under its Buena Vista game unit. There is no word what the first game will be or when it will be released.
The Nintendo Wii console will be released in the United States on November 19th.
