Disney board agrees to offer to buy out Pixar
CNNMoney.com reported early this morning that the board of directors of the Walt Disney Company has agreed to CEO Robert Iger’s proposal to offer to buy out Pixar Animation Studios. Pixar is the creator of several of Disney’s more popular recent films, including Toy Story and Finding Nemo ; perhaps more importantly, a buyout would conceivably make Steve Jobs - who is simultaneously Pixar’s and Apple’s chairman - Disney’s largest single shareholder.
