IDC: External disk storage systems market achieves record growth in Q3
Factory revenue in the external disk storage systems market worldwide enjoyed an on-year record growth of 12.5 percent to $3.9 billion in the third quarter of 2005, beating the previous record in 2001, according to International Data Corporation (IDC).
The global disk storage systems market also grew at a record on-year rate of 13.3 percent to $5.7 billion in the third quarter of this year, the research firm stated.
