Digital photo frames becoming more functional
Due to intense competition, digital photo frames are increasingly being offered with more functions such as MP3 and MPEG-4 (MP4) playback, according to Taiwan-based manufacturers of digital photo frames. Lite-On IT, a maker of digital photo frames under the Cenomax brand name, indicated that MP3 and WMA playback, calendar and even alarm clock functions can be built into digital photo frames and may become mainstream.
