Dell Reports Strong Q3 Profit
Dell Computer Corporation announced that it had significant third quarter sales and profits of $561 million. During last year's Q3, Dell's earnings were $429 million with revenue of $9.14 billion. This is impressive, considering the snail-like economy and the struggling technology sector. Dell also predicts that its revenue for Q4 2002 will increase 20% over last year's number, to $9.7 billion, and that it will meet its forecast numbers.
