Dell Posts Profit for Quarter
For its fiscal final quarter of 2002, Dell Computer announced that it earned a profit of $603 million, compared to the same period of time one year earlier, when it posted a profit of $456 million. Dell's yearly revenue was reported to be $35.4 billion, with Dell reporting a yearly profit of $2.12 billion. Dell's CFO announced that 2002 was the best performance year in Dell's history.
