Dell posts $667 million profit
Dell earned $667 million, or 26 cents a share including the tax item, compared to $749 million, or 29 cents, during the same period a year earlier.
Revenue climbed to $13.5 billion from $11.5 billion, in line with analyst estimates, as the Round Rock, Texas-based firm sold more of its desktop and laptop computers and boosted sales of printers and storage gear.
