Dell to move assembly of all notebooks to Malaysia
Dell plans to assemble all of its notebooks in Malaysia in the future, according to Tan Say Peng, director of Dell’s South Asia service business units, speaking at the opening of the company’s fifth global Enterprise Command Center (ECC) in Penang, Malaysia.
Currently, 95% of Dell’s notebooks are assembled in Penang, Malaysia, with the remainder in Ireland, he said.
