Another Dell laptop does its New Years impression in a family living room
Yet another Dell laptop has decided to put on a spectacular fireworks display, this time for a family in their living room in Leicestershire.
The laptop was trying to load up a video game, usually the safe way to play with explosives, when all of a sudden it started the blow up. The six battery cells in the £500 Latitude C600 went whiz-bang all over the place, setting fire to the carpet and a sofa.
Le INQ has the story, and in case you’re worried about your laptop battery (I just checked mine, as it sits on my rather prized and irreplaceable family crown jewels whilst writing this) then you might want to check the Dell battery replacement website.
